I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. I attended parochial schools. As an adult, I lived in a small rural town, Erie, Michigan, for about two and a half years. I helped resident and migrant, Spanish-speaking families with their spiritual and personal needs. From Erie, I moved to Recife, Brazil for another four years. After Brazil, I returned to Michigan, and to school on three occasions, earning three Masters' degrees. For several years I served as a public school administrator working with severely emotionally impaired children. In 1981, tired of snow and looking for a great family-friendly city for my wife and two children, we selected Austin. We have never been disappointed!
Upon arriving in Austin, after having counseled people in critical life-changing decisions for years, I carefully considered where I could best put the listening, goal setting and support skills to work. I became a Realtor helping people to make some of the most important decisions of their lives. Today, many of my close friends are former clients. These same former clients are the source of most of my real estate business. They refer their friends and associates because they want their friends to have the same real estate experience they had. The highest compliment (and endorsement) is the referral of friends, family and business associates.
My experience includes client purchases and sales from $6,000 to $2,400,000. I have helped people from Cottages to Castles? and every transaction is very important and requires customized attention! I have helped people sell lots, purchase and sell ranches, and purchase and sell both resale and new homes. I am affiliated with networks of real estate agents around the world. Helping clients find the right agent for a relocation move is an important service I provide.
